Buy & Sell Used Industrial Air Compressors

Oil-flooded compressors use lubricant inside the compression chamber for sealing and cooling, producing air with trace oil carryover (typically under 3 ppm). Oil-free compressors, such as the EnviroAire series, deliver ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0 certified air with zero oil content - essential for food, pharmaceutical, electronics, and medical applications where contamination is unacceptable.

A VSD compressor uses an inverter to vary motor speed in real time, matching compressed air output precisely to demand. Unlike fixed-speed units that load/unload at full power, VSD models like the LRS Series reduce energy consumption by 30–50% in facilities where air demand fluctuates - typically those operating between 40–75% of full load capacity.

The EnviroAire T & TVS and EnviroAire S & ES series are designed specifically for these industries. They carry ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0 certification for total oil-free and silicone-free air, meeting strict contamination standards. The EnviroAire S & ES is also NFPA 99 and CSA compliant for medical air applications.

The Gardner Denver lineup available through Comp-Air Ohio covers 2 HP (Hydrovane V Series) up to 400 HP (L Series and LRS Series). Two-stage models like the Electra TS/TSV cover 200–300 HP, while the Electra Saver G2 handles 75–300 HP demands with patented TurnValve variable displacement technology.

Gardner Denver offers a standard 2-year package warranty on most models. The Platinum 10-Year Extended Warranty covers airend parts for 10 years and major components for 5 years. The Platinum+ Full Package option provides a 5-year renewable service agreement covering wear items and package components through factory-trained authorized distributors.

Industrial air compressors serve automotive and body shops, woodworking facilities, hospitals and medical facilities, food and beverage production, pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, electronics production, construction sites, packaging operations, and general industrial manufacturing. Both oil-flooded and oil-free options are available depending on air purity requirements.
